Orders may be placed by post, phone, fax and email.

When placing an order, please indicate the number of units, the catalogue numbers and the product names together with an order number. Also, please indicate the delivery address as well as the invoicing address

Controlled substances

In certain countries controlled substances are subject to import and export licences. It is the customer's responsibility to verify whether a special permit is required in the importing country for the given product or whether the product is not allowed for importation. All necessary documentation should be provided as originals together with your order.
Please contact your nearest Lipomed office or an authorized distributor for assistance related to the import of controlled substances.

Shipping

Lipomed's Drug Reference Substances are shipped DDU (Incoterms 2000) shipping point, using selected carriers. Shipping charges are prepaid and documented accordingly on the relevant invoice covering the shipment. Claims for delayed or non-delivered goods will not qualify for compensation.

Prices, specifications and other information are subject to change without prior notice.

Payment

Net payments are requested within 30 days from invoice date by check or bank transfer. Products remain Lipomed's property until complete settlement of the invoice.

Disclaimer

Lipomed guarantees the purity, content/strength and chemical integrity specified for its Drug Reference Standards. The purchaser is responsible for observing patents on specific products in the country of use. Lipomed will not assume responsibility and cannot be held liable for any and all damages resulting from any use of the products described in our catalogue. The user of any of the information provided in Lipomed's catalogue takes responsibility for any damages resulting from the use of such information.

Warranty

All Lipomed products are warranted to meet the specifications supplied with each purchase. If a product fails to conform to such specifications, Lipomed will choose either to replace such a product or refund the purchase price. A return authorization must be obtained from Lipomed before returning any products. Warranty claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after receipt of the goods.
Lipomed does not provide warranty whatsoever of usefulness of any of its products for any purpose, nor does Lipomed suggest any usefulness or use of its products.

Use

The purchaser is not authorized to retail or wholesale any of Lipomed's products. Lipomed's Drug Reference Standards are specified for laboratory use only and must not be used in humans.

Jurisdiction

In case of any dispute the competent court of jurisdiction is CH-4144 Arlesheim (Switzerland). Swiss law will apply.
